STUDENTS

FROM STUDENT TO PROFESSIONAL

We believe that there is so much talent and creative energy in student theatre. This talent often gets overlooked or missed. As graduates, you start to be encouraged into other professions and your unique ideas and creativity get left behind.

We want to change that.

Through our workshops, courses, podcast and other online resources, we want to help you make the transition from student to professional theatre-maker - whether as an actor, director, writer, designer, producer, or something that a title can't neatly summarise!

Cyphers was founded by university graduates. Our core team members have all made the transition from student to professional theatre, and many of the actors and creatives we work with have done the same.

So we know first hand the questions, challenges and concerns you face when considering a career in theatre after graduating. We're here to help, support and mentor you through this transition.

And if you've got more questions get in touch! We'd love to hear from you.

THE PODCAST

Want to know more about the different roles available in theatre? Want to hear from university graduates pursuing careers in those roles? Yes?

The Cyphers Theatre Podcast is for you!

Over 9 episodes, we talk to actors, directors, producers, writers and stage managers about their roles, their time at university and how they made the transition from student to professional theatre.

All episodes are available wherever you listen to podcasts.
