One of our principle aims when founding Cyphers was to make the world of professional theatre as accessible as possible. This includes providing affordable training opportunities and alternative routes into the profession, as well as sharing our approach to theatre with schools and community groups through workshops and performances.

BENJAMIN TEARE (CREATE 2016)
Cyphers Create is our flagship creative learning programme, providing university students with an introduction to professional theatre and professional theatre training.
Through the programme, we give 10 students from across two universities the opportunity to work with us, a professional programme director and our specialist associate practitioners to develop and hone their core acting skills.
Cyphers Create runs over 8 weeks, consisting of 8 full day Saturday sessions and culminating in an informal public sharing on the final Saturday. Each week focusses on a core skill or theme, with a specialist practitioner workshop in the morning and further work with the Cyphers team in the afternoon.

We run workshops on a wide range of theatre and literature topics for those just starting out right through to professional performers and theatre makers looking to develop their practice further. Our sessions vary from 1 hour library discussions to weekend workshops.
